GeneWatch UK is an independent, not-for-profit, public interest group which aims to ensure that genetic technologies are developed and used in the public interest. We work for genetics to be used in a way promotes human health, protects the environment and respects human rights and the interests of animals. (See also GeneWatch UK - Aims and Principles.)
Maintaining our independence from commercial, governmental, or other vested interests is crucial to our effectiveness, and we therefore rely heavily on funding from charitable trusts and also on donations and subscriptions to our briefing series.
Please support GeneWatch in its work by making a simple donation and/or by subscribing to our briefing series.
Our briefings are produced approximately six times a year. They are all available online for free as PDF files. Alternatively you can have a paper version delivered to your door by taking out a subscription.
